Fulham are under investigation after being accused of breaching FA agent rules in their summer move for Jean-Michael Seri.
Seri and his Nice teammate Maxime Le Marchand joined Fulham in a double deal worth £25m combined, both signing contracts with the Cottagers until 2022.
Legal paperwork seen by the Daily Mail shows that Fulham and Seri's then-agent Franklin Mala-Makani conspired to allow intermediaries Willie and Mark McKay to orchestrate the deal, despite another FA-registered agent having exclusive rights to represent Seri in any move to England.
It is claimed that Fulham chief executive Alistair Mackintosh was aware of Seri's legal situation but the club proceeded to use the McKays as intermediaries anyway, inducing a breach of contract.
Willie McKay does not hold an FA intermediary license but his son Mark does, and he was the one who signed the legal documentation approving Seri's transfer.
A legal dispute arose, with the agent who had the exclusive mandate demanding £1m in compensation, but that complaint has since been withdrawn and the matter resolved.
Jean-Louis Dupont, who represented Jean-Marc Bosman in the landmark 1995 ruling which revolutionised the transfer market, wrote to the FA's compliance chief on Monday demanding an inquiry.
Meanwhile, Seri has initiated legal proceedings against Nice, claiming that they undervalued him to avoid paying sell-on fees to Seri's former clubs in Portugal and the Ivory Coast.
