The agent of Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has dismissed reports quoting him on discussions over a transfer to either Manchester United or Paris Saint-Germain.
A report from France claimed to quote Milinkovic-Savic's agent, former Chelsea striker Mateja Kezman, in saying that both United and PSG had submitted offers for the midfielder, whose preference was said to be a move to Old Trafford.
However, according to Calciomercato, Kezman has specifically denied conducting such an interview, insisting that the quotes are simply 'fake news'.
Sources have confirmed to 90min that Milinkovic-Savic has been discussed as a possible target for both United and PSG, but neither have settled on the 27-year-old and talks of negotiations or bids are far from the truth.
There is, however, sensational interest from Premier League newcomers Fulham, where striker Aleksandar Mitrovic has been trying to convince his fellow Serbia international to make the move to Craven Cottage.
Listen now to 90min's brand new podcast, Talking Transfers, with Scott Saunders & Graeme Bailey. Toby Cudworth joins the show again this week to discuss how Erik ten Hag's appointment may affect Man Utd's pursuit of Paul Mitchell. There is also chat on the futures of Jesse Lingard & David de Gea and a look at what Newcastle are planning this summer.
A regular in the transfer gossip column, Milinkovic-Savic has been touted as a replacement for Paul Pogba in past years. With the Frenchman now set to leave United when his contract expires in the summer, talks have been held at Old Trafford over how to move forward without him.
Midfield is one of many areas in which United plan to strengthen in the summer. 90min understands that West Ham's Declan Rice is the preferred candidate, while Wolves' Ruben Neves also joins Milinkovic-Savic on a long list of possible alternatives.
As for PSG, they are reported to be focused on Pogba themselves, with Milinkovic-Savic also one of many others to be discussed.
