Lazio president Claudio Lotito has stressed that he does not plan to sell midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic this summer but conceded that he will not stop the player from leaving if he requests a transfer.
The 27-year-old has just enjoyed the most productive season of his career to date, racking up 11 goals and 11 assists in 37 Serie A appearances this season - form which has attracted plenty of interest from elsewhere.
Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain have both been tipped to move for Milinkovic-Savic, while 90min understands Fulham are plotting an ambitious approach for the Serbian.
Manager Maurizio Sarri has already stressed that Lazio will not sell the midfielder to Serie A rivals Juventus and Lotito has stressed he is not for sale, though this doesn't necessarily mean Milinkovic-Savic will stay.
"Sergej is the object of everyone's desire," Lotito told Sky Sport Italia. "He does not have a market price, because the prices are made by those who put the objects on sale. I have not put him up for sale.
"When an offer arrives that satisfies him from a professional point of view - let's talk about the top five teams in the world - and from an economic point of view, and if this offer meets he needs of Lazio, I will not start crusading against Milinkovic. He doesn't deserve that."
Milinkovic-Savic, who is represented by former Chelsea striker Mateja Kezman, has just two years remaining on his contract and could be heading into a decisive summer in his career. Lazio are keen to keep him and he has previously suggested he is planning to stick around for the coming season.
Kezman was recently forced to come out and distance himself from reports which claimed to quote him discussing talks with both United and PSG, stressing that no such negotiations have been held.
