The winner of the PFA Vertu Motors Championship Fans' Player of the Month - February

Fulham's domination of the Championship and charge back to the Premier League continued in February - led by their brilliant striker Aleksandar Mitrovic.

The Serbian hotshot has already claimed the PFA Vertu Motors Championship Fans' Player of the Month award on three occasions - and he has now made it four.

The Cottagers claimed four victories from five games in February and it is little surprise that Mitrovic maintained his stunning form as he broke through the 30-goal barrier for the season.

After an FA Cup loss to Premier League champions Manchester City, Fulham got back to winning ways with a 3-0 success over capital rivals Millwall, with Mitrovic bagging a brace.

The number nine followed that up with a brilliant finish in the 1-0 win at Hull City. He did not score in the loss to Huddersfield and that was telling because throughout the month, Fulham won every match that their talisman scored in.

The month ended with Fulham and Mitro added three more goals. He grabbed both in the 2-1 win over Peterborough before claiming the crucial goal in the 1-0 win over Cardiff.

All this led to Mitrovic taking more than a quarter of the fan vote with over 28,000 votes cast. He won nearly 10% more votes than his nearest rival, Nottingham Forest's Brennan Johnson.

It was close between second, third and fourth with Johnson finishing fewer than 200 votes ahead of Reading's Lucas Joao, who ended with 18% of the ballot. Joao in turn only just claimed more than Blackpool's Josh Bowler.

Veteran Sheffield United star Billy Sharp finished fifth with 10% of the vote ahead of Luton's newly converted defender Kal Naismith finishing.
