The winner of the PFA Vertu Motors Championship Fans' Player of the Month - January

Fulham have resumed their dominance of the PFA Vertu Motors Championship Fans' Player of the Month in the new year, but there is a new name taking the honours in the shape of Harry Wilson.

Aleksandar Mitrovic was in the running to land the honour for an incredible fourth time in five months, but his teammate Wilson has emerged as the winner of the fans' vote.

Wilson played a huge part in a brilliant January for Fulham as they started the year by winning three out of four games, scoring 20 goals en route.

The league year began with a 7-0 win at Reading and Wilson was outstanding, scoring two and claiming two further assists.

The former Liverpool man followed that up with an assist in the 6-2 win over Bristol City as Fulham's promotion charge continued at a pace.

Wilson took over a quarter of the votes cast with 27.44% of the ballot going his way. The winger edged out Wales international teammate Tom Lawrence as the Derby captain claimed just over 21% of the votes.

His clubmate Mitrovic had to make do with third place with just shy of 20% despite having a fine month himself.

Third place went to Queens Park Rangers midfielder Chris Willock (13.63%), who narrowly edged out Preston's Danish forward Emil Riis Jakobsen (11.99%).

Blackburn Rovers' captain Darragh Lenihan finished sixth in the vote with 6.35%.
