£5.5m deal close to completion?

Manchester City are expected to offer £5.5m for Steed Malbranque.
City have already had a £4m bid rejected for the Frenchman, but are now set to test Fulham's resolve with an improved offer.

Reports suggest the new offer will meet Fulham's valuation of the player so a deal is expected to be done.
