Agent makes trouble?

Willie McKay, Diop's agent, said: "Fulham have offered him a new contract which is suitable to him.

"Bouba wanted to sign for a further year, and that is what they have given him.

"I know there is a lot of interest and if a club puts the right offer in, I am sure it will be accepted."

McKay is currently in the spotlight as France's national division of financial investigations began a probe amid claims of embezzlements during transfers to and from Paris St Germain.

Nine agents had their homes raided last March, including Monaco-based Willie McKay, and Olympic Marseille director Pope Diouf, a former associate of McKay.

No charges have been made against any agents at this stage because the investigation is ongoing.
