"I'm really happy to have joined Fulham," he told the official website, "and as the deal was done so quickly have already had the opportunity to train with the lads and I'm sure I'm going to enjoy my time here. I had a great time at Wigan and am grateful to the Manager and Chairman for their continued support, and of course the fans for the reception they always gave me.
"However, I felt that the time was right for me to make a move again, and to be able to be close to my family was really important to me. I was happy to get a nice reception from the Fulham fans at the last game of the season and I'm really looking forward to the start of the new season."
