"We were never out of trouble and we are not safe now. We definitely need one more win," Clark told the Evening Standard
"Performing like we did against Blackburn with the games we have got coming up is not good. We let everyone down. The manager, the supporters and ourselves.
"It is hard to remember a worse performance but I don't think there is any correlation with the announcement that the manager is going.
"We are playing for our futures and have to do well for the club and the new man, whoever that may be."
