Coleman: I Enjoyed It

"It was a good London derby with some good niggly battles and I really enjoyed it," the Fulham boss said after the game at Craven Cottage.

"A clean sheet was good for us and it just didn't fall for us in the box today. That is two good performances in a row.

"We are down to the bare bones with ten players out. It was always going to be tough. West Ham had a few chances and were playing for their new manager. There were no negatives from our point of view

"We need those kind of performances. This time last year we had 20 points from 20 games, but we have already got 24 from 19.

"If we get two wins out of the next three that will take us to 30 points going into January which will be fantastic for us.

"Zat Knight came in on Thursday complaining of pain in his jaw. He said he had been fooling around with his brother. We had him x-rayed and it showed two breaks in his jaw.

"It's unfortunate for him. He could be out for two months, possibly more. It's come at a bad time. Zat has been playing well and has shown a lot of consistency.

"I can only go on what Zat said. He is 6'6 and is a big boy. I don't suppose his brother is much smaller and it is a freak accident. He said that is what happened and we believe him."
