Sloppy defending saw the Cottagers trail 3-0 to Stuart Pearce's side going in at the half time interval and Coleman admitted that h had little to say to his players during the half time break.

"I didn't have much to say as there were a few heated discussions already going on between the players," the Fulham boss said after the 3-1 defeat at Eastlands.

"It was not fighting or scrapping, but it was not a pretty sight. That was the only positive thing as far as I was concerned.

"It was the most disappointing 45 minutes of the season on our travels. We have been tighter and harder to beat, but it was like going back to last season.

"We are not going to win every game this season, but if we lose it has to be in a certain manner."
