The Fulham boss, who gained over 30 international caps for his country, is the latest name being tipped in the media to atke over from the now departed Mark Hughes.

"I’m flattered to be linked with the Wales job and managing the national side is something I’d love to do one day in the future," Coleman said.

"But I’m not ready for it yet and I don’t want to do it because I’m loving every minute of being at Fulham."

"If I was in line for the Welsh job in the future I’d love the opportunity but I don’t see that happening for quite a while yet

"If I was to leave Fulham then I’d be giving the chairman a slap in the face, which I would never do because he has stuck by me."
