"There was pressure on today as we were up against young lads but they kept positive and it was a big three points for us today," he said.
"Middlesbrough fielded a young team, but it wasn't for our side taking their foot of the gas. I just think we lacked a little bit of invention, but they made it difficult for us and got bodies behind the ball but we got our bit of luck and it was a good win, a good three points and that takes us to 12th.
"I am glad we have got a good finish and we can build to next season."
