"We could have won it and I was certainly disappointed when we went a goal down because it was against the run of play," Coleman said after the 1-1 draw.
"We were poor in the first half and we had a chat at half time but we started the second half well and went on from there.
"When you drop points it is slightly disappointing but Portsmouth are the form team in the division.
"We're seventh with two games to go and at the start of the season I would have bitten your hand off to be in this position.
"We'll keep battling to the end and if we can get two more wins that will be fantastic"
