Coleman Upset With Pompey Equaliser

The Fulham boss was adamant that the ball had been kicked out keeper Antti Niemi hands before Andy Cole levelled for the home side.

"I was disappointed with the goal but not because of anything my players did but because of the decision. I thought the ball was kicked out of Antti's hands and we should have had a free-kick," Coleman said after the 1-1 draw at Fratton Park.

"I do not want to make a big thing of it because goalkeepers have been in the spotlight too often this season, but I just want some consistency.

"We tried to sit too deep too early after taking the lead and there was too long left to do that.

"I feared the worst when I saw Andy coming on and thought 100 per cent this is dangerous. He is a great player with two great feet and I knew it would be dangerous.

"To be fair once they went behind the fans got behind them and that spurred them on, they were brilliant."
