"I was disappointed with the goal but not because of anything my players did but because of the decision. I thought the ball was kicked out of Antti's hands and we should have had a free-kick," Coleman said after the 1-1 draw at Fratton Park.
"I do not want to make a big thing of it because goalkeepers have been in the spotlight too often this season, but I just want some consistency.
"We tried to sit too deep too early after taking the lead and there was too long left to do that.
"I feared the worst when I saw Andy coming on and thought 100 per cent this is dangerous. He is a great player with two great feet and I knew it would be dangerous.
"To be fair once they went behind the fans got behind them and that spurred them on, they were brilliant."
