"I've got three caps, and of course I want to add to them," said Collins. "But I'm not going to get too stressed out about it. At the moment I have to focus on doing my best for the Under 21s.

The Dutch beat the Ukraine on the weekend to lift the trophy in Porto. John was an unused sub in the final.

"I'm only 20 - you have to be super talented to play regular international football at 20. That's what players such as Wayne Rooney do. If you look at the strikers that Holland has available, it's scary!

"Players like Hasselbaink, Kluivert, Van Nistelrooy, Kuijt, Robben - I could keep going! So I have to just give myself a little bit of time. Robin van Persie plays as winger for Holland even though he plays up front for Arsenal so what does that tell you?"

Now Collins John can cheer on the senior side in Germany.

"Of course I'll be watching and supporting Holland in Germany this summer!" he exclaimed. "Hopefully we're going to do really well in the World Cup!"
