The two club's have agreed a £3million fee for the Gabon striker but the move has been put on hold as FIFA determine whether the deal can go ahead.

Any player is only allowed to play for no more than two club's during a season and Cousin had already mae a 20 minute friendly appearance for French side Lyon before his summer move to Ibrox.

"Rangers Football Club has been advised by Fulham that FIFA will make a decision on Daniel Cousin's proposed transfer to the London club some time next week," said a Rangers spokesman.
