Crewe muddying Fontaine's move to Bristol

This week though there has been interest from Crewe who are said to have had an offer accepted for the player.

Bristol City chairman Steve Lansdown is confident he'll get the player who was on loan at Ashton Gate last season.

"We have agreed personal terms with Liam, but are still in negotiations with Fulham about compensation. We hope to conclude the deal next week," he told the club's official website.
