Curbishley Faces Player Revolt If Appointed

The Daily Star report that the ex-Charlton and West Ham boss is the bookies' favourite to replace Roy Hodgson.

But if he was appointed, skipper Danny Murphy, Paul Konchesky, John Pantsil and Bobby Zamora could demand moves from Craven Cottage.

Murphy was accused of dumping Charlton when he moved to Spurs, while Curbishley's feud with Konchesky is long and bitter.

Curbishley considered legal action against the left-back when the player made comments about his management style after being off-loaded to Fulham.

Pantsil and Zamora barely featured under Curbishley at West Ham and were sold to Fulham.
