Damiano praise for keeper

Taylor was a replacement for Edwin van der Sar who broke a bone in his foot in a clash with Alan Shearer in the game with Newcastle last weekend.

Speaking after the game, Damiano said: "We're disappointed about the penalty because, before the corner-kick which led to it, there was a huge foot on Maik Taylor.

"It was a penalty because it was handball - but before that, there was a great, great foul committed on Maik. That's very strange and, at this level, that's bad.

"The draw was the minimum for us today as we pushed and tried to take risks. It was a good game and Maik Taylor played very well," concluded the assistant manager.
