Davis Deal Unlikely

Fulham and Rangers have been unable to come to an agreement on a fee for the Northern Ireland international midfielder who spent the last few months of last season on loan at Ibrox and had been hoping to secure a permanent switch to Rangers this summer.

"We haven't been able to reach agreement with the club so it would look as though that is now finished with, "Smith has said.

"I think the lad would like to come here and play and there will be a bit of frustration from both parties that it hasn't happened.

"But there are still five weeks of the transfer window left so we will just have to wait and see."
