Davis injury blow

Club physio Jason Palmer told the club's website, Fulham Today: "It was sore at half time so we had a look at it.

"He was happy to play through the pain in the second half. We then carried out an x-ray after the match which revealed the fracture.

"We have to try and protect his toe and make sure that the area isn't stressed, this will allow the fracture to knit. Because it's such a small bone, it's not something you can put in a plaster cast.

"Fractures can take anything from four to six weeks to heal, but Sean may well be back earlier. At this point it's hard to predict. I'd like to think that he will be playing within a month of the injury but we'll just have to wait and see how things go in the early stages."
