Fulham boss Chris Coleman has gone on record as saying he would like to sign both Bobo Balde and Stilian Petrov.
He said: "It is going to be a push, but there are two players we are keen on and if we get both, then fantastic.
"It is unlikely we will get both, but we could get one. We will just have to wait and see."
Fulham failed in their original attempt to lure Balde to London, but may step up their efforts now.
They will probably have to offer more than £4m meanwhile to land Petrov, as the original bid of that amount was rejected.
