The Czech international keeper, who currently plays for Greek club Panionios, claims he is to sign a three-year deal with Fulham in the not-too-distant-future.

"Kiev play regularly in the Champions League, but the English Premiership is one of the best leagues in the world and it is a dream of every footballer to play there," Drobny has said.

"The stadiums in England are fantastic and the fans create a superb atmosphere. I will face the best footballers in the world and I want to prove that I am capable to compete with them.

"It is good that Fulham have a goalkeeper of world class with van der Sar. But coach Chris Coleman told me that he is not interested in names, but in the shape of the players."

"Fulham have been watching me for months.

"I know from my agent Viktor Kolar that Fulham started to follow my performances four or five months ago."
