The lovable Scouser started his career with his hometown club where he was nicknamed "Bonus", on account of all the games he sat on the bench earning extra money without making a single first team appearance.

He then had brief loan spells with Swindon, Celtic and Aberdeen before linking up with Millwall, where he was voted the fans' Player of the Year.

After clocking up over 200 appearances for the Lions, he moved on to Cardiff City on a Bosman free transfer to earn a more lucrative salary.

But the 31-year-old has not established himself as the undisputed number one between the sticks at Ninian Park, so this loan deal with Fulham may be a welcome shot in the arm for Warner.
