A second half own goal was the difference between two two sides. Fulham made it three wins from 5 pre season games fo far but Chris Coleman was not entirely happy.

"We looked tired," he told fulhamfc.com. "We weren't at our best at all, but we were very tired. I thought Gladbach played some good football.

"I think they are a little bit further ahead in their pre-season, and you could see that, we didn't play the football that we normally do but it was a good performances from Gladbach and I think in the end they probably deserved to win the game.

"For us this is the last but one game in our preparation, but we play Boavista next week and last week we played Real Madrid. The reason we wanted to play such strong opposition is because the Premiership has many tough games as we know and these three games (including Gladbach) is a good way to prepare for our first game against Manchester United."

Fuham face Boavista at Craven Cottage this Saturday. August 12th.
