Bryan Ruiz’ sublime chip against Everton to be our 2011/12 Goal of the Season.
The Costa Rican international also came in at number three with his lob over Jussi Jaaskelainen in front of the Putney End when we defeated Bolton Wanderers by two goals to nil, while Andrew Johnson’s ferocious volley against Wisla Krakow came second.
“That was my favourite moment of last season - scoring my first goal for Fulham,” Bryan told fulhamfc.com. “I think the Premier League is the best league in the world so to score my first goal was something I cherish.
“It’s always nice to score but to score that type of goal is special because you don’t see it all the time. I think it’s one of my qualities to score goals like that.
“I’m sure next season I’ll score a lot more goals and I’ll be working really hard in pre-season. I know the Club, players and League really well now so I’m sure there will be more goals from me next season.”
