Hodgson Admits Single Points Not Enough

After Morten Gamst Pedersen headed Blackburn Rovers in front 14 minutes into the second half, Jimmy Bullard's last-minute free-kick snatched a precious point for Fulham at Ewood Park.

"I thought we defended well and attacked well," Hodgson told Sky Sports News after the 1-1 draw.

"I thought we created more than enough chances, although that has been a problem as we don't always create those chances, but at least we are creating those chances now.

"I thought defensively we were solid throughout against a very good team, and I have to be happy.

"We are in a position where points are not enough - we need victories and three points and we have got to hope we can keep this level of performance up.

"I think the performances we have shown recently would suggest we have got the necessary quality and the necessary ability to stay up.

"But we just have to keep working and me talking about getting out of it will not get us out of it, only performances will do and we just have to keep working hard on the training ground."
