Hodgson Disappointed With Rovers Defeat

A Matt Derbyshire goal just six minutes from time gave Rovers all three points at Ewood Park on Saturday afternoon.

"I thought we were looking pretty good value for a draw and it was unfortunate that Blackburn got the break and we didn't," Hodgson said after the 1-0 defeat.

"It was an even game in which we gave a very good account of ourselves.

"It's disappointing not to get a point, but it would have been more disappointing if the performance had been worse.

"Goals decide games and they got the goal. We had our chances to win the game in both halves with Paul Robinson twice pulling off good saves from Andy Johnson."
