The Japanese international is currently in the second season of a loan deal at Fulham and chief executive Bruce Langham has confirmed that he intends to speak to Gamba Osaka about signing the player on a permanent deal.
"We will be looking closely into the possibility of acquiring Inamoto," he said.
"If he continues to play to the standard he does now for the rest of the season, I will not be surprised if he is offered a full contract."
