Inamoto was this week named Asian Football Confederation (AFC) player of the month following his four goals in the two legs of the Intertoto Cup victory over Italian Serie A side Bologna.
"It was Japan's 2002 World Cup hero Inamoto that stood out for his contribution to Fulham's first-ever European silverware," the AFC said in a statement on Thursday.
