The Fulham boss has said that he expects to be without the 32-year-old New Zealand international until probably March next year.

Elliott has not played a single game for the Cottagers this season after picking up a calf injury during pre-season.

"Simon Elliott has had a setback and he'll be out for another three or four months," Coleman told the club's official website.

"He had a twist in his Achilles tendon and unfortunately he'll miss the majority of the season."
