Keeper Not To Blame - Coleman

The Dutch keeper, it appears, was unsighted when Frank Lampard fired Chelsea into a 2-1 lead just two minutes from the end of the quarter final tie at Craven Cottage and ultimately into the semi finals.

"Maybe he could have done a bit better with the second goal, although he saw it a bit late because it came through Ian Pearce's legs," the Fulham boss said after the game.

"And the first one was a deflection. But I thought he played really well, and his distribution was fantastic."

"Edwin is a good goalkeeper, it's as simple as that."
