The midfeilder, who still had three years to run on his current contract, as signed a new deal that will keep him at the club until 2007.
"I am very pleased to sign an extension to my contract with Fulham. I feel very good here, and this has made me very happy," Malbranque told the club's official website.
"There is a very good spirit within the team and the club as a whole. This is very important for me - I want to be able to feel good about the club that I play for.
"I think the future here looks very good, and I would say that I think we will be able to bring some success here. It wasn't a very difficult decision to make; I feel good here and I am very happy - it's as simple as that.
"Now I can look forward to the future at Fulham."
