There is speculation today that Fulham could be preparing a January swoop for Aston Villa midfielder Nigel Reo-Coker.

According to reports, the player is looking for a way out of Villa Park after an altercation with manager Martin O’Neill, if Fulham were to make the move, they would be looking at around £3 million to land the ex West Ham man.

But if Fulham are interested, then they face competition from Everton and Tottenham, although it is believed that the 25 year old would prefer a move back to London.

The player was an unused sub in Villa's 2-1 defeat to Blackburn at the weekend.
