Fulham boss Chris Coleman is understood to be looking for a quality left back, amongst other things, and Wayne Bridge of Chelsea fits the bill.
Whether the Blues will be tempted to let him leave on loan is a moot point, but Bridge needs first team football in a World Cup season to have any hope of making Sven Goran Eriksson's squad.
