Saha needs operation

The French striker attempted a comeback a fortnight ago but broke down in training and will now go under the knife in a bid to put an end to the problem.

A Fulham spokesman said: "Louis has been to see two specialists and they have recommended he has an operation.

"He will be going into hospital this week and until we see the results of the operation we don't really know how long he will be out."
