Sign of things to come?

Michael Timlin and Lee Hall scored for Fulham's reserves in their 2-1 victory over Pompey, which augurs well for future.

But to put the victory in context, Portsmouth fielded a very inexperience side.

In fact, no Pompey player featuring at Motspur Park had any Premiership experience at all.

Fulham's starting line up wasn't exactly star-studded either: Crossley; Lawless, Milsom, Rehman, Watkins; Collins, McDermott (Kareem 70), Timlin, Buari (Hall 85), Doherty; Ehui (Sankoh 90+2)

Portsmouth's first team visit Craven Cottage on the 3rd April, in a game that's being labelled as a "six-pointer" and Fulham will hope the first team follow the stiffs' example.
