The Fulham skipper was booked by referee Howard Webb for a foul on Wanderers striker Niclas Anelka that led to the home side going 1-0 up from the penalty spot.
This was Brown's 5th caution of the season meaning he will now be serving a one game suspension when Fulham play Spurs at Craven Cottage in their FA Cup tie next Sunday.
