"I still have another year on my contract at Spurs after this, but for me and the rest of the squad, the main goal is to ensure that we keep this side in the Premier League," he told the club's official website.
"Of course, it would be nice to make the move permanent, but we just have to focus on the team's survival - the rest takes a back seat for now.
"We have nine games to go and we need to string a run together where we get not only points but wins.
"This season will go all the way to the last game of the season and we'll be fighting all the way to ensure we're not in those bottom three places."
