FA Cup on TV: Man Utd, Spurs & Man City television selections confirmed for fifth round

The FA Cup fifth round will begin in the final week of February and features the only midweek schedule in the competition this season.

Sides will battle it out on Tuesday 28 February and Wednesday 1 March for a spot in the final eight of the tournament. A spot in Wembley's final is the ultimate goal for those who remain in the competition.

Here are the television picks for the fifth round of the 2022/23 FA Cup.

A number of Premier League sides remain in the running for the FA Cup this season.

Brighton dumped out defending champions Liverpool in the fourth round, while Manchester City booked their place by defeating Arsenal.

Wrexham remain in the draw but will have to overcome Championship high-flyers Sheffield United if they want to set up a clash with Tottenham at the Racecourse.

ITV have four games which they will broadcast, with the headline act being West Ham's trip to Manchester United.

They'll also show the game between Bristol City and Manchester City at Ashton Gate, Brighton's trip to Stoke and either Luton or Grimsby's away day to Southampton.

On the BBC, viewers will be able to watch Leeds' match with either Fulham or Sunderland and Tottenham's trip to Wrexham or Sheffield United.

Leicester vs Blackburn and Ipswich or Burnley vs Sheffield Wednesday or Fleetwood will not be shown by UK broadcasters.


What happened in the 2022/23 FA Cup fourth round?

Premier League title rivals Manchester City and Arsenal met for the first time this season in the previous round and it was the current English champions who came out on top 1-0 thanks to Nathan Ake's goal.

Leeds and Leicester proved too strong for lower league opposition Accrington Stanley and Walsall respectively, while Spurs overpowered Preston thanks to two goals from Son Heung-min.

Manchester United dispatched of Reading and Brighton beat Liverpool thanks to Kaoru Mitoma's magical winner.
