The 21-year-old Italian Under-21 forward, who has struggled to gain a place in the Inter first team squad and has been playing on loan at Cagliari for the past two seasons, has confirmed that Fulham have contacted him by phone about a possible move to Craven Cottage.

"I'm tranquil and I'm keeping my concentration for the Under-21 European tournament," he told Gazzetta dello Sport.

"Obviously I'll also think about my future, which is set to be decided in the next few days.

"I want to underline one thing - I have never said I want to go where I'd be guaranteed a regular starting place.

"I want only to have the possibility to play, to have my chance at the same level with the others. I'm used to having to fight to earn my place.

"Fulham called me personally on the phone. Each hypothesis must be considered. I could also try to go abroad as others have done.

"I don't want to say what side I prefer. Surely, playing in Europe with Genoa or Lazio would be a great result. Juve, then, are a really beautiful surprise."
