"I don't think it's that easy to fatten out the squad," he has said.
"The quality of player that we need isn't going to be readily available. It's a tough time economically for all football clubs.
"Our chairman has been very generous with what he's allowed me to spend in the past.
"If we do anything, it will be like most clubs who are trying to pick up a bargain or a player on loan who can help us out."
