"I like Jimmy. I signed him when I was at West Ham for £20,000 from Gravesend & Northfleet," Redknapp told the Portsmouth News.
"He's done fantastic, he really has, and I'm pleased for the lad.But there's no truth I want to sign him whatsoever.
"He's a great lad with a fantastic attitude.
