Sheffield United, Crystal Palace and Fulham are all reportedly interested in securing the services of AZ Alkmaar goalkeeper Marco Bizot.
The 29-year-old shot-stopper established himself as one of the Eredivisie's top goalkeepers with his impressive form last season. Since Arne Slot's arrival as manager in July 2019, AZ have shown significant improvement in the league, with Bizot's performances imperative to their impressive campaign.
With the coronavirus pandemic calling a halt to the 2019/20 Eredivisie season in April, AZ finished runners up on goal difference, narrowly missing out on their first league title since 2008/09.
Bizot made 41 appearances for Slot's side, recording 27 clean sheets in all competitions – including 18 from 24 in the league. His efficient work between the sticks for the Cheeseheads has previously seen him linked with a move to La Liga. Atletico Madrid, Sevilla and Valencia are reportedly monitoring the 29-year-old.
With Dean Henderson returning to Manchester United following his successful loan spell, Sheffield United are in the market for a new goalkeeper, and Sky Sports report that Bizot could be that man. Chris Wilder's side are coming off a thrilling campaign in their return to the Premier League, but replacing Henderson is imperative if they are to replicate any success next season.
Crystal Palace endured another uneventful season in the bottom half of the table and – despite finishing with the bottom half's best defence, with the aid of some good performances by Vicente Guaita – the south Londoners have been linked with a move for Bizot too.
Scott Parker's Fulham will be playing Premier League football next season after just one season away, going up with young Marek Rodak in goal; but Parker could look to add experience to his goalkeepers' room.
